A clean-cut man of about thirty moves through the neon-spattered darkness, striking up conversations over the cacophony of voices and grinding background music. It's a typical night in this Palm Springs gay bar, though it has been an eventful week for its patrons, as earlier in the week, oral arguments were presented in the landmark Obergefell v. Hodges gay marriage case.
