Numbers from VAERS
The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a program set up in 1990 by the Centers for Disease Control that enables individuals to report adverse effects from the administration of a vaccine. The VAERS home page (https://vaers.hhs.gov/about.html) notes that because this is a "passive" reporting system, it is "not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns . . . that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine."
The following graphs distill Covid vaccine data reported to VAERS as of October 22, 2021. Healthcare professionals are required by law to report deaths and certain other serious reactions. Still, many reactions go unreported. The reported adverse events shown in these graphs seem to indicate "a possible safety problem" that is not being reported by mainstream media.
