The Power of Just Saying, “No”

The Whistleblower in the EU Parliament

Christine Anderson may not be a name that trips off the tongue stateside, but as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP), she has been a German firebrand who has railed against the tyranny of globalist politicians ever since she was elected back in 2017. Most famous for her smackdown of the authoritarian regime of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau back in March 2022, where she openly condemned his dictatorial actions taken against the free and democratic protests of Canadian truckers in regard to Covid vaccine mandates.

Anderson is a vociferous member of the controversial right-leaning political party, Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD), founded in 2013 in response to overreaching policies in Germany.

Pushing Back Against the “Globalitarian” WHO & WEF

Anderson recently delivered another rebuke against the “globalist elite” before the European Parliament in a session focused on the World Health Organization (WHO), the influence of the World Economic Forum (WEF), and COVID-19 responses. She opened:

We just need to find a way to wake the people up. Because the point is simply this: it comes down to a choice. It’s either freedom, democracy, and the rule of law—or enslavement.

Anderson was warning of the dangers of ratifying a treaty whereby WHO member states have agreed to draft and negotiate a convention, agreement, or some other international instrument said to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. The expected implementation date is May 2024.

If the WHO is given any level of binding control and made a global authority on public health measures, there are very real and far-reaching concerns for all freedom-loving societies. For example, considering all the various medical, cultural, and societal factors that are so wonderfully different across the globe, pandemic responses can only be instituted on a national level. A pandemic response like that envisioned by the WHO can never be a “one size fits all,” as it cannot be done in negotiation with communist states like China, for example. Anderson rightly sees this as a globalist overreach that would severely curtail human freedoms:

There is no such thing in between. There is no such thing as a little freedom, a little democracy, a little rule of law, just as there is no such thing as a little enslavement. So that’s the choice. It comes down to—it’s either the globalitarian misanthropists or the people. It comes down to—it’s either us or them. And that’s, I think, what this really is all about.

Anderson has real form on this. In a previous Salvo blog, I covered an interview with her in which she explained how the EU parliament cannot really be considered to be democratic, as MEPs do not really debate issues in any substantive way anymore.

What’s more, she is an outspoken critic of Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of the WEF, and leading advocate of what WEF calls the “Great Reset,” which calls for Chinese Communist Party-style social credit systems, digital vaccine passports, and central bank digital currencies to control the movements of global populations in what is widely viewed as a neo-Marxist dystopia.

Anderson has also made many aware of Schwab’s influence over political leaders, many of whom have endorsed dubious schemes such as Environmental and Social Governance (ESG), which coerces businesses to embrace woke metrics, whereby employees and whole companies are scored based on how well they adhere to cultural Marxist “values” of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), rather than on merit. These dubious initiatives have also infiltrated many government institutions, both in the USA and in European nations.

Government for the People

Anderson’s popularity has enjoyed a meteoric rise among the common people, who have pushed back against this new woke capitalism and the erosion of their traditional freedoms. She pulled no punches in her most recent pitch to the EU Parliament:

Now, when my colleagues and I were elected to this parliament, there was no question about it. We were on the side of the people because the people actually pay us to act in their best interests. That’s our job. And once again, I will say to every single elected representative around the world, to every single member in every elected government around the world, if you do not unequivocally stand with the people and serve in their best interests, act in their best interests, you have no place in any parliament or in any government. You belong behind bars.”

Anderson’s AfD party has enjoyed increasing popularity in the German polls, where citizens are fed up with their deeply unpopular left-wing government, which is effectively committing economic suicide by decommissioning nuclear power plants and shutting down fossil fuel-powered electric generators. Add to that Germany’s enormous problems with illegal immigration and you can begin to see why even left-leaning news outlets are predicting huge gains for parties like the AfD in the next election cycle. Indeed, the same trends are happening in many European countries.

Anderson pledged to stand with the people:

Now, I would like to make a promise to the people, and I’m pretty sure I can speak or speak on behalf of my colleagues. We will continue to stand with you, the people. We will continue to fight for freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. We will not shut up, and we will not stop going after those despicable globalitarian misanthropists.

Déjà vu All Over Again

Before leaving the floor, Anderson warned that we could be on the verge of surrendering our freedoms to controllers who relish the idea of bringing back lockdowns and mask mandates:

But we would also like to have you make a promise to us. You may have heard it’s all coming back. The first country is already starting [to talk about] mask mandates in Israel. They’re already imposing it. I’ve heard of a few universities in the United States. They’re already bringing it all back. And I would really like for you, the people, to not go along.

Simply say no! They want you to wear a mask; say no. They want you to put in another mRNA shot; say no. They want to impose a curfew on you; say no. That’s really all you have to do.

And it might … sound a little hard, but it’s actually not that hard. Because once you have made it clear to them that you will no longer go along, once you’ve let them know, they cannot scare you anymore. Because as long as you are afraid of what they might do if you don’t comply, they have power over you. Take the power away from them! Simply say no. Once you do that, they don’t have power over you anymore. You will feel so free. Simply say no.

Anderson is not just another conspiracy theorist when making these recommendations about the vaccines. There is now alarming evidence that these experimental vaccines have damaged the hearts of millions of people across the globe.

We should heed her warnings. Our forebears fought tooth and nail to secure the freedoms we take for granted in Western democracies. But there is now a real danger of sleepwalking our way into a dystopian future where an elite few impose their dubious values on the rest of us. Wherever we are and whatever we do, we must stand and be counted.
