Our friends at the Howard Center are hosting a talk by Dr. Allan Carlson on the effects of the crushing debt that most college grads find themselves in, and how that factor alone is discouraging marriage and families. This is definitely a topic that hits close to home for a lot of us I'm sure, but don't be discouraged.

  1. And women especially should watch how much debt they rack up.
    Though it is not fair, women still (overall—and even with a college degree) generally make less then men with similar education.
    (Your college counselors might not legally want to point this out…)
